Phlebotomy

Introduction to the fundamental principles of phlebotomy. Covers anatomy and physiology of the circulatory system, types of blood specimens, ethical and legal considerations, and maintaining a sterile and safe environment during blood collection.

Phlebotomy Lab

Hands-on training in the practical application of phlebotomy techniques. Students develop skills to perform safe and effective blood draws, including proper patient preparation, vein selection, and use of various blood collection equipment. Emphasis on real-world clinical scenarios and NHA CPT exam preparation.
