The Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) program at AlliedRx Institute of Healthcare prepares you to work alongside dentists and dental hygienists in a wide range of clinical settings — including dental offices, specialty practices, community health clinics, and hospital-based dental departments. You will develop hands-on competency in chairside assisting, dental radiography, infection control, instrument processing, and patient management from day one.

The program covers the full scope of dental assisting practice: oral anatomy, tooth morphology and charting, dental pharmacology, radiology safety and technique, four-handed dentistry, restorative and preventive procedures, and specialty dental assisting across orthodontics, periodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery. Interactive simulations and 3D anatomy tools replace traditional lab settings, giving you clinical-quality practice entirely online.

Upon completion, graduates are eligible to sit for the DANB RDA and AMT national certification exams — two of the most recognized credentials in dental assisting. AlliedRx students benefit from exam prep materials, knowledge assessments, and student support throughout the program.
