As a clinical medical assistant, you'll work alongside physicians, nurses and other providers in clinics, physician offices and hospitals. Our online CCMA program teaches the clinical and administrative skills that matter on the job.
You'll learn to take vital signs, assist with physical exams and procedures, draw blood, run EKGs, administer medications, and document care — plus infection control and quality patient interaction.
After finishing, you'll be ready to take the NHA Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam and/or the AMCA exam — nationally recognized credentials that open more job options and room to advance.
